The sales have started.
Two years after leaving Standard de Liège for FC Nantes, Renaud Emond returns to Belgium, still with Les Rouches. A departure that looks like a failure for both the club and the player. Recruited for four million euros two years ago, he returns to his former team (summer 2015-January 2020) for only 200,000 euros, which is to say not much.
? the @FCNantes and the @Standard_RSCL have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of ?????? ?????.The Club thanks its ?°?? for these past two years and wish him all the best for this new challenge, as well as for the rest of his career?

His time at La Beaujoire will not be remembered, with his three small goals scored (two in Ligue 1 and one against Lyon in the Coupe de France) in 38 games in all competitions in the Nantes jersey. By signing with Standard, he returns home, to Belgium, in an environment which he knows perfectly and in which he was rather effective before his departure (43 goals in 139 games in Standard). This perhaps explains the euphoria of the Liège club when announcing the return of the “Phoenix”.

He will now be in competition with another Renaud.
