Joint police operation by the Mossos d’Esquadra and the National Police to dismantle an organization linked to National Socialism and white supremacy called Combat 18. The agents carry out entries and searches in various parts of Spain, although the majority are in Catalonia. Specifically, it operates in El Prat de Llobregat, Sentmenat, Sant Boi de Llobregat, Navarcles, Lloret de Mar and Mollerussa. In addition, four interventions have also been carried out in Arganda del Rey (Madrid), Talavera de la Reina (Castilla-La Mancha), Lugo and Málaga.
The agents do not rule out arrests in this operation with a criminal group that has branches in several European countries. It is related to numerous criminal activities and several murders, in addition to highlighting the violence with which they act. The name Combat 18 comes from the first and eighth letters of the alphabet A for Adolf and H for Hitler. It originated in the United Kingdom in 1992 although it later spread to several countries, including Germany, where it was banned in 2020.
For two years now, the Mossos have been warning of the increase in organizations in favor of white supremacism with international connections that have appeared in Catalonia, some also dedicated to other crimes.
