Air Europa tries by all means to attract customers. So far, Globalia’s airline has launched aggressive discount campaigns, opting for unprecedented flexibility, and rewarding customers who use the vouchers rather than request a refund (Air Europa pulls bargains on its return after the crisis).
To all this, he now adds a new insurance with Covid-19 coverage. “We are taking a new step in our commitment to the safety of our passengers, including coverage of pandemic or epidemic diseases, such as Covid-19,” the airline reports. With this initiative, launched in collaboration with Allianz Partners, it seeks to “convey the peace of mind and confidence necessary when organizing your trip.”
The Globalia airline details that this policy covers “medical and hospital expenses in the event of a possible contagion by Covid; as well as the cost that could arise from the extension of the hotel stay or, where appropriate, from the pertinent quarantine ”. “Likewise, it includes the medical transfer and repatriation, and the cancellation, in the case of not being able to fly due to contagion, up to the limit established in the policy,” he adds.
Air Europa indicates that the new insurance is accessible on its website, as well as in its customer service channels and in the sales offices of Spanish airports, making no mention of the travel agency channel.
