New Avengers: Endgame Trailer adds Captain Marvel

Not long after the release of Captain Marvel, the new trailer for Avengers: Endgame has arrived. The long-awaited sequel to last year's blockbuster Avengers: Infinity War will arrive in theaters next month, and is once again directed by Joe and Anthony Russo.

The trailer starts more or less like the last one, with Tony Stark floating in space, feeling lonely and sorry. Then he shows us a black and white montage of shots from previous MCU movies (like Iron Man and Thor) and the Avengers all mourning the loss of their colleagues after the shocking climax of Infinity War. But our heroes are not going to stand up and let Thanos claim victory, so they decided to form a plan to bring their friends back. It also features an appearance from Captain Marvel, some fantastic Avenger suits, new hairstyles and more. Have a look over here and look at the last poster at the end of this story and a breakdown of the last trailer. There are a lot of things to do about what we have learned, although there are suspicions that the trailer might try to deceive us about some of the events in the film.

Avengers: Endgame is released on April 26, 2019. Virtually all the major players in the MCU will return, then Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark Ruffalo, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Scarlett Johansson, and so on. It was said that this could be Marvel's last film for some of MCU's most long-lived stars – particularly Evans – but nothing has been confirmed about their future in the franchise. We know that Endgame will be followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home in July, with Tom Spider-Man of Tom Holland and Nick Fury of Samuel L. Jackson both coming back.
