No time to Die: Producer ensures that all Daniel Craig films like 007 will have a connection

Daniel Craig He has had a long and fruitful road playing British secret agent James Bond, and he is ready to leave the legacy of many generations in the hands of a new actor. But before this happens it must be released No Time to Die, which due to the coronavirus has only suffered delays in its arrival on the big screen. However, to further pique the curiosity of the actor’s fans, the film’s producer has revealed that this story will mark a union of all the adventures he has had Craig like 007 thus giving an arc closure to his character development.

Craig He has played Bond for almost 15 years. It started in 2006 with 007: Casino Royale – 95%, going by 007 Quantum – 64% in 2008 and in 2012 007 Operation Skyfall – 93% hit theaters, and in 2017 007 Spectre – 65% had a special premiere in Mexico since the initial sequence was filmed in our country. With No time To Die, the producer Barbara Broccoli has called this story as the culmination of what has been harvested with the character during all these years, not only is it the farewell of the actor, but they made sure that details of all the past films converged to close in a spectacular way.

Through his podcast in which he has focused on talking about agent 007, Broccoli has highlighted this detail of union between past stories and has cataloged No Time to Die as an epic close:

It is the culmination of everything that has gone through his interpretation of the character. Link all the stories. It’s quite an epic movie, I have to say.

This vision of doing something great and different from what the adventures of Bond had been presenting had already come from the director Cary Fukunaga joined the project, thus replacing Danny Boyle. Fukunaga was in charge of rewriting some parts of the original script and warned since then that the changes he would make were in favor of evolving the character and not stalling him, thus giving an epic exit to Craig (Vía The Independent):

In terms of what I can bring to bear in changing the character, Bond is in a character arc that started with Casino Royale. There will be changes, I’m sure. As in any story, a character has to change to [tener] a narrative and evolution.

Thanks to the different advances that have been presented to us, we knew that the fifth film of Craig as James Bond would be connected with its predecessor, this due to the return of de Blofeld (Christoph Waltz) y Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux) who have their appearances in the trailer.

On the other hand, this revelation of an epic narrative and closing of the arc for the character, was what prompted the actor of Between Razors and Secrets – 100% return. Let’s remember that years ago it was speculated that he would no longer return as agent 007 and that was when the search for a new one began. Fortunately the studio and the producer managed to make him change his mind by offering him something different, in the same podcast the actor told the ultimatum he put:

I can’t go in and try to be something that people expect. I can go in and try to reinvent it, because that for me is fascinating and interesting. Fortunately, the producers had exactly the same idea in mind.

No Time to Die has been delayed until April 2, 2021 also featuring the participation of the Academy Award-winning actor for Bohemian Rhapsody: La Historia de Freddie Mercury – 51%, Rami Malek as the villain.
