Techbiz.id – Acer announced the presence of the latest Vero product range with an environmentally friendly concept, namely the Acer Aspire Vero 15 (AV15-53P) laptop and the Acer Vero PL3510ATV laser projector.
Both Acer Vero’s eco-friendly products are designed to support business and consumer needs, with high performance, power-saving technologies and options to reduce carbon footprint.
The Aspire Vero 15 laptop is powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core processor with Intel Iris Xe graphics, as well as Intel Evo certification which ensures it can do more at once. The Aspire Vero reduces CO2 emissions through the use of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic in its chassis without sacrificing durability.

The energy-saving design of this laser projector can save energy up to 48%, more compared to lamp-based projectors[2]ultimately reducing total maintenance costs and carbon emissions through a longer product life.
In line with Acer’s Earthion platform, the new Vero products integrate PCR plastics into their chassis and use recyclable packaging.

Compared to the previous generation of eco-friendly laptops, the percentage of PCR plastic used by the Aspire Vero 15 has increased.
Parts of the chassis are now made using up to 40% PCR plastics -previously only 30%- and produce 30% less CO2 emissions[1] in chassis production, while ensuring the chassis can withstand the wear and tear of everyday use.
The chassis is also made without the use of paint and uses non-volatile organic compounds, while the key caps and adapter casing use 50% PCR material. The smooth OceanGlass trackpad also incorporates recycled plastic obtained from the oceans.
With the aim of extending life, this laptop is manufactured using standard screws which simplifies repair and recycling at the end of product life. This laptop is packaged in multipurpose recycled packaging made from 100% recycled paper and the use of up to 90% recycled cardboard.
