Since Valdés announced phase 3 ten days ago, 37 people have died. The number of assets doubled.
With an average of 3 and a half fatal cases per day, November has become the hardest month of the coronavirus pandemic in the province of Corrientes, accumulates 75 deaths until yesterday and shows that the health risk, which entails a humanitarian drama , has accelerated at full speed even with the measures established by the government of Gustavo Valdés. Ten days ago -on Thursday 12- the return to Phase 3 of the quarantine was ordered, since then 37 people have died and not only that, the number of accumulated positive cases grew by 36.2% and the number of assets doubled, that is, people who have the disease and can transmit the virus.
Clearly the picture has become more serious. If the Phase 3 decision was motivated by an exponential growth in coronavirus cases, the epidemiological evolution of the last week and a half is equally delicate. One of the parameters is the death registry, six other people died yesterday. There are 25 since last Wednesday.
The informational part of the Campaign Hospital states that there are two women and four men from this Capital, who were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, all with a diagnosis of covid-19.
The detail is as follows: a 66-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer, type 2 diabetes mellitus; and a 76-year-old woman with a history of high blood pressure, obesity, and cerebrovascular disease. The list is completed with a 72-year-old man with a history of high blood pressure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and obesity; a 72-year-old man with a history of high blood pressure, heart failure, and obesity; too
a 73-year-old man with high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and cerebrovascular disease. And a 66-year-old man with a history of high blood pressure, pulmonary fibrosis, and heart disease.
