NSIA Banque CI set a record at the end of the third quarter of 2022

(Ecofin Agency) – NSIA Banque Côte d’Ivoire added XAF159.3 billion in net outstanding loans to its customers between 1is January and September 30, 2022, can be seen from its unaudited financial results, published over the period. At the end of the third quarter, this performance indicator stood at 1077.6 billion FCFA, against 918.3 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2021.

This is its highest volume of progress for the period under review, since 2019. It is also concrete proof of the commitment made by the bank at the end of 2021, to establish a better connection with customers by rebalancing its portfolio, but also to support local champions in strategic business sectors.

NSIA Banque CI aims to position itself as a key player in this segment, in accordance with its Altitude 22-26 strategic plan. In 2021, the bank carried out various actions aimed at becoming “ a key player in SME financing in Côte d’Ivoire “. It thus increased prospecting, at the same time as it provided advice in terms of capacity building, and the structuring of dedicated offers.

On the 1is half of 2022, the realization of this ambition resulted in an increase of 20 billion FCFA on good quality loans granted to small and medium-sized enterprises on its market. It is not excluded at the end of the year, that the increase of 51 billion FCFA of the global credits granted to SMEs will again be reached, or even exceeded.

It should also be remembered that the bank’s credit activities are supported by its commitment to the benefit of the WAEMU States. The latest update, which dates from June 2022, indicates that the outstanding amount of loans under this segment reached 451 billion FCFA.
