Nyon (VD): The facade of the Lake Geneva Museum transformed into a comic strip

Window frames like comic book boxes. The facade of the Musée du Léman in Nyon now displays drawings by Exem, known for his comics, posters, press cartoons and illustrations of all kinds. Le Genevois has produced portraits of sixteen personalities whose life and work are linked to Lake Geneva, which can be found on four windows of the building.

Among the celebrities sketched, we can discover the writer and philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the writer Charles Ferdinand Ramuz, the designer Rodolphe Töppfer, the author of Tintin Hergé, the painter Gustave Courbet, the scholars and adventurers Auguste and Jacques Piccard , Empress Sissi or even Deep Purple (“Smoke On The Water”) guitarist Ritchie Blackmore. A fresco that brings together all these personalities also adorns the wall of an exhibition hall of the museum.
