MEDIA – Jacques Vendroux had announced it: if France beat Denmark for their second World Cup match at the Qatarhe was going to put on a djellaba.
Done this Monday, November 28, after the 2-1 success of the Blues on Saturday, during a surreal duplex on CNews. The journalist, who according to him was speaking live from a kebab, was indeed wearing traditional local clothing, but in the colors of the France team.
“The French football team is the most popular team here in Qatar. And I wanted to wink at our Muslim friends. Because there are all the selections that have a djellaba in their colors, and the most sold are France, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay”explained Jacques Vendroux to Pascal Praudat the time of issue Time for the Pros (see the video clip below).

On his way, he continued: “I am currently in a kebab called ‘Kebab Mohamed’, where we were received wonderfully well. For the moment everything is well. I put on the sunglasses because it’s 45 degrees inside the kebab, in addition to cooking all the food for lunch”…
