The pandemic of coronavirus continues adding victims in the Mexico City, so the ravages in the hospitals from the capital of the country begin to be present, since most of the nosocomios dedicated to the care of COVID-19 patients they are saturated.
The CDMX Government Launched an application to find out the availability of general beds in hospitals in the capital, in which it has been observed that until this 12 May, only four nosocomios with medical attention capacity.
The health institutions that have high availability are: The Federico Gómez Children’s Hospital of Mexico, of the Ministry of Health, which only provides care to minors; the Pediatric Hospital 01 21st century from the IMSS; the Zone 48 General Hospital of the IMSS, as well as the La Villa Pediatric Hospital from the SSA of Mexico City.
The rest of the nosocomios dedicated to the care of patients with COVID-19 have an attention span half and low, which are represented on the map in yellow and red, respectively, colors that will change as the beds are vacated.
It is worth mentioning that the health authorities of the CDMX They have reported that epidemiological scenarios predict that the peak of hospitalizations could arrive in the last week of May.
