While all the news is about HUF 3,000 billion, the government claims: there is nothing to see here, everything is going according to plan. The reaction of Viktor Orbán and his two ministers, Tibor Navracsics and Gergely Gulyás, to the fact that the European Commission is not satisfied with the Hungarian rule of law commitments, is a good example of the duplicity with which they have communicated the negotiations in the last 8 months: to make the Union a treasurer who can be brought to the table with a few dozen laws, to flatter behind the scenes, while carrying on the dirtiest anti-EU propaganda. In reality, however, it appears that the flag is not for Fidesz.
