LONDON – Ex star ChelseaOscar hopes to play again at Stamford Bridge after leaving the club in 2017. He currently plays for Chinese club Shanghai SIPG.
Oscar headed for Shanghai SIPG while his performance was still at its peak. Shanghai SIPG itself recruited a midfielder for 60 million pounds (Rp1, 1 trillion).
The 29-year-old has played with Chelsea in more than 200 appearances. He managed to bring his club at that time won the Premier League title twice.
“I really want to return to Europe. (But not now). Right now I am fine in China, I still have my contract here, “Oscar quoted Fox Sport as saying, Tuesday (9/15/2020).
“The situation is difficult for me to come back, a little more complicated for me to get out of here,” he said.
If he could leave, Oscar stated that he would like to return to his old club Chelsea. Apart from wanting to play for the Blues, Oscar also dreams of being able to play with his childhood idol club, Inter Milan.
“Of course the first club I would choose if I could return to Europe would be Chelsea, of course, with a club I built with a very beautiful history,” he said.
“And when I was a kid I watched a lot of the Italian league because there were a lot of Brazilians there. So there are several teams from Italy that I really like, like Inter, Milan, “said Oscar again.
Oscar is recorded as having made 123 appearances with Shanghai SIPG. However, at this time he stated that Arsenal had made contact with him. If he moves to the Emirates Stadium, Oscar will reunite with other Brazilian players, Willian and David Luiz, who have known him since their time at Chelsea.
“They called me. Because we have good communication. Sometimes I talk to them. They said ‘come to Arsenal, come here’, “Oscar said quoting Fox Sports, Tuesday (9/15/2020).
“But for me it’s difficult. I have a contract with Shanghai, it’s hard to leave. Willian has completed his contract. I’m glad they got together again, and happy because Willian is happy, “he added.
“The most important thing is to be happy, wherever it is. So I hope they are happy there, “concluded Oscar.
