Projects – which include a Pacific Rim series of souls and one Altered Carbon anime function: join 100 new originals and return to eight countries in Asia until 2019, as Netflix increases its investment in Asian stories and storytellers. Netflix's first raids into space included crime thrillers Holy games (in India), anime series Devilman Crybaby (in Japan) and comedy variety Arrested! (in Korea) last year.

Trese. Set in a Manila where the mythical creatures of Filipino folklore live hidden among humans, Alexandra Trese is facing a criminal shark composed of evil supernatural beings.
