The regional party of the penitentiary police. This morning at the Educational Institute of the Penitentiary Police Corps, the regional ceremony was held to celebrate the 206th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Penitentiary Police Corps.
The event was attended by the highest institutional offices of the Emilia Romagna Region, the Prison Managers and Penitentiary Police of the Emilia Romagna institutions, as well as members of the Corps in service, prison operators of each sector and retired staff. During the ceremony, the message of the Head of the Department of Penitentiary Administration, Giovanni Russo, was read.
Speeches by the Commander of the Department of the Bologna Prison Department, Deputy Director Roberto Di Caterino followed, who illustrated the operational activity carried out by the staff of the Corps, by Anna Albano on behalf of all the directors, as well as that of the Provveditore of the Penitentiary Administration of the ‘Emilia Romagna and the Marches Gloria Manzelli.
During the ceremony, some rewards and commendations were handed out to members of the Corps who distinguished themselves particularly for their moral and professional qualities.
