No PS Plus? Buy or renew here:
The PS Plus games for April 2021 have been announced. There are great titles, including a game especially for PS5 owners. In addition, another game with PS5 upgrade is available.
These monthly free games are a great way to try out PlayStation games that you might not have played otherwise. Maybe the titles have disappeared under your radar or were too expensive to buy at launch.
Keep in mind that PlayStation Plus games are only available for one month to add to your library, so don’t forget to do this in time. The three games will be available from April 6 to May 3.
Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5)
Oddworld: Soulstorm is a retelling (not a remake) of Oddworld: Abe’s Exoddus from 1998. Abe once again tries to save the Mudokons. Gameplay has become much smoother, although you still need to help Abe solve several puzzles. Thanks to the 2.9D environment and excellent graphics, the game should be more beautiful than ever before. On the PS5, Soulstorm will take advantage of the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback, allowing you to feel Abe’s heartbeat at times.
Oddworld: Soulstorm is available for both PS4 and PS5, but only the PS5 version will be free with PS Plus in April.
Days Gone (PS4)
In the open-world game Days Gone, you follow biker Deacon St John as he must survive in a post-apocalyptic world, only to be reunited with his wife. Expect a lot of action and even more zombies.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4/PS5-upgrade)
In April, PS Plus subscribers will be rewarded with a double dose of zombies, as Zombie Army: Dead War is also available for free. In this shooter from the makers of Sniper Elite 4 you take on Nazi zombies. It is therefore set in the 1940s in Europe. You can play alone or with up to three friends. Zombie Army 4: Dead War also gets a free PS5 upgrade, with shorter loading times, 4K resolution and 60fps.
