Sources close to the process assured that the defense of the two patrollers will once again pose a conflict of competences

The Superior Council of the Judiciary will be the entity in charge of solving the case of the murder of lawyer Javier Ordoñez, in addition, the hearing was suspended and will resume next Monday at 10:00 am

It should be remembered that the Attorney General’s Office reported that Harby Rodríguez and Juan Camilo Lloreda, patrolmen of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, did not accept the charges that were imputed to them in the criminal process for the murder of Javier Ordóñez, on September 9.

It is important to emphasize that the accusation hearing was held privately because new evidence was going to be shown that may affect the investigation carried out against the uniformed officers.

The patrolmen were charged with aggravated homicide and torture, since they allegedly detained, beat and attacked him several times with an electric gun when he was drinking alcoholic beverages on public roads.

Sources close to the process assured that the defense of the two patrolmen will once again raise a conflict of competences, arguing that the case should go to the Military Criminal Justice because the facts investigated are part of the acts of service.
