The services at the Dominican Consulate in New York City were resumed in a first phase in which only people will be attended by appointment.
The diplomatic legation reported that it will restrict public attendance to 10 people for every half hour, from 9 in the morning until 3.30 in the afternoon.
In a statement, the Dominican consulate in the New York city warned users that to enter the consular office they must be protected from masks at all times.
It also states that to make it easier for users, two points will be opened in supermarkets in the community, where Dominicans will have access to services during the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic.
It establishes in a communication signed by the Vice Consul Eduardo Hernández, that it was established that a collaborative model will be implemented at the main headquarters for the previous appointments of the users.
The appointments will be scheduled by a remote work team and the Net2PHne, My Consulate, WhatsApp ChatBot Consular 914826-8091 and Google Drive will be used.
It indicates that all those who go to the consular headquarters, be they employees or users, will have their body temperature taken. After warning that anyone with a fever will not be admitted to the consulate.
