The members of the 212 movement expressed their displeasure at the reconciliation of President Joko "Jokowi" Widodo and for losing the presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto over the weekend, saying that Prabowo seemed to be following the steps of his "treacherous allies" to support the 39; incumbent.
A spokesman for the 212 Alumni association, Novel Bamukmin, did not elaborate and name the person or persons to whom he referred.

The group started the 212 rally in November 2016 to ask for the imprisonment of the former governor of Jakarta Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama for blasphemy. Jokowi and Prabowo led the Jakarta MRT line from Lebak Bulus to Senayan, in southern Jakarta, on Saturday, during which they had a private chat. However, PAN boss Amien Rais said he was surprised to meet the leaders' meeting.

He promised to meet Prabowo soon to talk about the "reconciliation" between Prabowo and Jokowi.
Amien also stated that he would prefer to see Prabowo remain in the opposition camp.
"It will be an honor to oversee the government's performance," he said.
PKS President Sohibul Iman, meanwhile, said the meeting as part of the reconciliation efforts between two former contenders was normal.
