The former world champion in cruiserweight and heavyweight announced his intention to return to the sport in early May.
Boxer Evander Holyfield could return to the ring nine years later and he is in very good shape for his possible rematch with another boxing myth, Mike Tyson.
At least this is seen in new images published on the Twitter account of the American, who made his last fight in 2011, and who is now working out accompanied by the Ukrainian, Vladimir Klichkó, world champion in heavy weights until 2015; and another famous boxer, the American Antonio Tarver, former world champion in light heavyweight and cruiserweight. The video is accompanied by the message “Team Holyfield prepared for battle.”
In the event of a new confrontation against Mike Tyson, it could be a reissue of the famous 1997 fight that went down in history for the bite that ‘Iron Mike’ gave to ‘Real Deal’ Holyfield. On May 21, it was Mike Tyson who revealed his impressed state to his followers.
Evander Holyfield announced his intention to return to the sport in early May after an eight-year hiatus. The 57-year-old boxer said he will fight exhibition battles for charitable purposes.
