Probably found dead actor Charles Levin


Charles Levin, best known for his roles in "Seinfeld" and "LA Law", is believed to have been found dead inside Oregon after losing last week.

Officials searched Levin in the Grants Pass, located about 200 miles south of Salem, near the Oregon-California border, according to Press release on July 14th.

Officials added that he drove an orange Fiat and traveled with his dog, second L & # 39; Oregonian newspaper.

The search and rescue team used the GPS data obtained from his phone before narrowing the search to an area near Selma, located north of Grants Pass, according to the report. Subsequently, a resident found his vehicle on an almost impassable road, and was turned off due to the terrain.

The Grants Pass police found Levin's car inside and discovered his deceased dog, Boo Bear, said the police press release.

"Levin was not in his car, or in the immediate vicinity of his vehicle," the statement said, adding that officials combed "very steep and bumpy terrain" to look for it.

"After several hours of research, human remains had been found. Depending on the circumstances, there is a high probability that the remains are those of Charles Levin."

The police said the final identification will be done by a local doctor's office.

The Oregonian reported that Levin, 70, was reported missing by his son on July 8 after being in contact for several days. He was from the southwest of the Oregon.

His cause of death was not released.

His television credits include "Alice", "Hill Street Blues", "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Night Court" and "Seinfeld", according to his IMDB page.

Levin has also appeared in "The Golden Child", "Annie Hall" and "This is Spinal Tap".
