Many are nostalgic to appreciate the style so particular of the first FPS, those who exploited the famous technique of raycasting. More and more developers are trying their hand at this exercise, like 3D Realms with its recent Ion Fury.
In a slightly more cartoony style, but still “inspired by the classics“, the studio Buckshot Software offers us Project Warlock. We play a warlock who will simply have to rid the world of the demonic forces which invade it. On the program, 60 levels distributed in five different regions, 38 weapons and 8 spells to cast. If you are looking for a software to let off steam a little, know that it will be available on PlayStation 4 on June 9, on Nintendo Switch on June 11 and on Xbox One on June 12. All will be offered at a price of 14.99 €, or four euros more than on Steam.
