PSV and Fortuna Sittard both announced transfer news on Tuesday afternoon. Goalkeeper Yanick van Osch exchanges the Eindhoven team for the South Limburgers.
The 23-year-old Bosschenaar has made fifty Kitchen Champion Division duels on behalf of Jong PSV since 2015, has suffered several annoying injuries and can now work towards his Eredivisie debut. At Fortuna, he has signed a two-season contract, with an option for another year.
Van Osch has responded enthusiastically to the conclusion of his transfer. “I am very happy with this new challenge,” he says to the channels of his new employer. “Fortuna Sittard is a great club. I can’t wait to be on the field here in Sittard and help the club realize their sporting ambitions.”
Whether he will be the first choice in Sittard depends on a possible transfer from Alexei Koselev, who has defended the goal of Sittard in the past two seasons. The Moldovan has been fixed in South Limburg for one more season.
