Putin discussed with the members of the Security Council agreement with Turkey on Syria
Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council to discuss the situation in Syria. About this reported on the Kremlin website.
"A careful exchange of views took place on the implementation of the memorandum agreed between the leaders of Russia and Turkey and on the situation in Syria," the note states.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, speakers from the Federal Council and the State Duma Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, as well as the secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, the head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and heads of other departments.
The president also spoke of the meeting on the content of the contacts that took place at the Russia-Africa summit and discussed with them relevant questions in the national agenda.
