Putin fears and respects only two people

Former KGB officer and Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Zhirnov believes that for the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin in world politics there are only two leaders. One of the few people respected by the President of the Russian Federation, according to the expert, is Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

As he noted on air,24 channelsPutin’s respect for Erdogan culminated in November 2015, when Turkey shot down a Russian fighter jet. At the same time, according to Zhirnov, there is not a single person in the West whom the Russian president would not despise.

The ex-KGB officer added that apart from Erdogan, Putin fears and respects only Xi Jinping. However, the head of the Kremlin is more jealous of the leader of China, because the PRC is a large country with a large population.

“This is a country that plays its own game, and it is rather difficult for Putin to play this game,” Zhirnov said.
