Reduced ticket prices for the third class of Egypt matches in the "Africa Cup"

The Organizing Committee of the African Nations Championship, chaired by the engineer Hani Aburida, has decided to reduce the prices of third-class tickets for Egypt's matches in the tournament during its first round at 150 pounds instead of 200 pounds.

A statement released by the Egyptian Football Federation stated Wednesday that this "is in the interest of the organizing committee to reduce the burden on Egyptian fans and increase their presence in the stands to encourage their team and enjoy the championship".

This occurred in coordination with the authorities concerned and on the basis of studies conducted in this regard, taking into account a series of factors that determine ticket prices compared to previous championships, population, average income per capita, stadium costs and value of tournament marketing in progress.

The organizing committee confirmed that "it would like to be able to lower or lower the value of third-class tickets, but the factors that determine ticket prices in big tournaments have prevented it".
