In a press release published Wednesday, Renaud Muselier explains:
"I decided to accompany the conversion of vehicles to bioethanol fuel, reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 70% and reduce the household fuel budget by 35% to 45%, which is a true economic and environmental response to difficulties that many French must face as a result of the increase in the price of conventional fuels and taxes raised by the government ".
In this perspective, a vast plan of 2.5 million euros "with the goal of supporting, from 1 January 2019, 10,000 families in the southern region to convert their vehicle into bioethanol" it's on the tracks.
A measure for employees who use their personal vehicle to reach their workplace within a 60-mile return radius.
"up to 250 euros"
Concretely, "this support will result in the Region assuming 50% of the cost of the conversion device, up to a limit of 250 euros (by family, note)".
Please note that only the invoices paid to a company located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region will be incurred, "promoting employment on our regional territory".
The device must be voted in plenary assembly on December 14th and enter into force from the beginning of the year 2019.
