He Cerealto Siro Group and the works council of the biscuit factory in Sale of Bathrooms (Palencia) have reached an agreement by which they will maintain the activity in this factory in which 200 people work after months of “intense dedication to the search for a solution”, as reported by the multinational in a statement.
“This has been possible thanks to the willingness, work and joint effort of Cerealto and the VB1 Works Council and the support of the Venta de Baños City Council, the Castilla y León Government and the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce” , they have pointed out.
It was during the workers’ vote held this Friday that the agreement between Cerealto and the center’s collaborators was ratified, according to the Efe news agency.
This includes the measures “to ensure the productive activity of the center” in which approximately 200 people work directly today.
“This agreement includes an investment plan, which will take shape in the coming months and will involve progressive improvements to the factory’s facilities and machinery,” they have detailed.
