(New York) Michael Jackson musical on Broadway postpones premiere until next year due to coronavirus pandemic.

The preview performances of MJ should now begin in March 2021 at the Neil Simon Theater.

The musical – previously titled Don’t Stop’Til You Get Enough – was due to present its first performances in New York on July 6.

The musical is inspired by the life and music of Jackson.

Twice Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage writes the libretto using Michael Jackson’s extensive catalog of songs.

Christopher Wheeldon will stage and create the choreography while Ephraim Sykes plays Michael Jackson.

Michael Jackson has sold millions of records and won 13 Grammy awards.

He died in 2009.
