MOSCOW, 10 November – RIA news. Rescuers discovered wrecks on the shore, as it is supposed, from the upper deck of the ship Anatoly Krasheninnikov, sunk in the Sea of Okhotsk, according to the Kamchatka Krai government website.
"At the same time, ships located in the wreck area of the dry cargo ship Anatoly Krasheninnikov will continue their search along the way," says the report.
Even an EMERCOM helicopter flew in search of the missing.
The merchant ship sank on November 9 off the coast of Kamchatka, not far from Cape Lopatka. On board there were 13 people, ten were removed from the life raft. The fate of the three – captain, elderly and mechanical assistant – remains unknown.
The investigators opened a criminal case.
The vessel departed from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky on November 8 and was sent to the village of Palana with a load of products, building materials and equipment. Because the main version of the incident is considered moving the load during a storm.
