The camera is probably something that many people expect from the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the new flagship that will be launched early next year. Ice Universe recently tweeted the camera information of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. at once
It states that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will have 4 rear cameras as usual. The correct resolution is 108MP + 10MP + 10MP + 12MP with the following specs and sensor sizes.
- Main camera 108MP, improved version of the HM3, sensor size 1/1.33″ 0.8 um f/1.8, wide angle 85º.
- 12MP Ultra Wide Camera, 0.6X distance, 1/2.55″ Sony sensor, 1.4um f/2.2, 120º wide angle
- Tele Camera 10X 10MP 10X New Sony Sensor 1/3.52″ 1.12um f/4.9 11º Wide Angle
- Tele Camera 3X 10MP New Sony Sensor 1/3.52″ 1.12um f/2.4 Wide Angle 36º
If you notice from this information, you can see that the resolution of all 4 cameras is the same as that of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, including the distance used. But the real difference is probably the camera sensor that states that the two tele cameras are new sensors from Sony instead.
With the main camera that still uses the same 108MP resolution ISOCELL HM3, but should be improved in many ways. If you look at this or that next year we may not see a full camera upgrade or Samsung will focus on other uses instead, this is interesting.
