While Rick and Morty season 4 is still awaiting the end, co-creator Justin Roiland returns with a new animated series. Solar Opposites will be available on Hulu on May 8. In the meantime, the platform unveils an explosive first trailer.
We haven’t finished hearing about Justin Roiland. The co-creator of Rick and Morty returns with a new animated series, this time on Hulu. Scheduled for May 8, Solar Opposites has a crazy first trailer. She will tell the adventures of four extraterrestrials who have to adapt to life on earth. An inevitably disturbed and politically incorrect epic which should reserve its share of crazy situations. If the graphic universe is reminiscent of that of Rick and Morty, it would seem that the series has nothing to do with its big sister. Besides, in writing, Roiland did not surround himself with his usual team since Dan Harmon will not be on the trip. To replace him, the scriptwriter calls on Mike McMahan who has already signed the script for several episodes of Rick and Morty.
As with the Adult Swim series, Justin Roiland will make an appearance in the voice casting. This time he will only lend his voice to two characters: Korvo and Terry. He will be joined by Sean Giambrone (Harley quinn) as well as Mary Mack (Twin Cities). Thomas Barbusca, who starred in Very Bad Nanny will embody Aedan. The first season would consist of eight episodes of 30 minutes each and could allow us to wait before the return of Rick and Morty on Adult Swim. The rest of the series was expected on our screens at the beginning of the year, it will certainly be necessary to be patient. There will be 5 episodes in this fourth season and they will arrive in 2020. In terms of Solar Opposites there is no indication at the moment that a French release is planned.
