Ricky Fox, famous host (Radio Contact, RTBF, RFM, Contact + …) died at the age of 64

Radio host Ricky Fox died of cancer on Saturday, a relative announced in Belga on Sunday. He was a historic Radio Contact host in the 1980s.

Ricky Fox was born on March 2, 1957 in Uccle. He made his debut in radio in 1980, when the free radio station Radio Contact was created.

He also hosted the variety television show “Chansons à la carte” broadcast on Sundays by RTBF.

From 1983 until 1988, he was director of programs and the antenna of Radio Contact. He then left free radio to, in particular, collaborate with advertising agencies and host shows. He also presents shows on RFM.

Having become responsible for the Contact + radio station in 2005, the Contact group dismissed him in 2006, before putting him back on the air and terminating his contract definitively in 2007.
