Rivian’s charging network is up and running. The first stations have opened.

Rivian Adventure Network is the name of Rivian’s own charging stations that they intend to place in various places in the USA. Now the first stations have opened and these can be found in Colorado and California. There are both Level 3 (over 200 kW) and Level 2 (11.5 kW) on the sites and with the faster variant you should be able to refuel 22.5 miles in 20 minutes. The slower chargers can be used by others than Rivian’s cars if they have a J1772 connector. The sites are strategically selected for the adventurous who want to go out into the wilderness by car, they are therefore close to Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Forest, Mammoth Lakes and Death Valley National Park.

By the end of 2023, Rivian hopes to blow up 3,500 fast chargers in 600 different locations around North America.
