Individuals and institutions can submit the request for co-financing
For the recovery, restoration and enhancement of the rural architectural and landscape heritage, the Regional Department of Culture led by Andrea Biancareddu has promoted in agreement with the European Union the project called “NextGenerationEU: Protection and enhancement of architecture and rural landscape “.
The grant granted is a maximum of 150 thousand euros as a form of co-financing. The application for funding, complete with the documentation, must be received, under penalty of exclusion, starting from 10 am on Friday 22 April 2022, and no later than 16.59 on Friday 20 May 2022.
The notice aims to give impetus to a vast and systematic process of conservation and enhancement of an articulated range of historic rural buildings and the protection of the rural landscape, in line with the objectives of protecting the cultural heritage and the characteristic elements of rural landscapes. historical and supportive processes of local development.
Many rural buildings, originally intended for residential purposes (such as farmhouses and farms), productive (farmhouses, stables, mills, oil mills), religious (rural churches, votive kiosks), educational (rural schools, educational farms) and agricultural structures, have underwent a progressive process of abandonment, decay and alterations that compromised the typological and constructive characteristics and their relationship with the surrounding spaces.
The intervention aims to improve the landscape quality of the territory and the implementation of innovative solutions, including technological ones, to improve accessibility for people with physical and sensory disabilities. Furthermore, the recovery of the rural building heritage, combined with interventions to improve its energy efficiency, contributes to the achievement of climate and environmental objectives, returning to the community and in many cases to public use, an underutilized building heritage that is not accessible to the public.
Individuals and private profit and non-profit entities can apply for funding, including civilly recognized ecclesiastical entities, third sector entities and other associations, foundations, cooperatives, individual or corporate businesses, whether they are owners, possessors or holders of any title of properties belonging to the rural cultural heritage.
Projects that intervene on publicly owned rural architectural and landscape heritage assets, of which private and third sector subjects have full availability, will also be eligible, with enjoyment titles lasting at least 5 years following the administrative and accounting conclusion of the operation financed, maintaining the destination restrictions for the same duration.
To submit applications, applicants must use, under penalty of exclusion, the forms available on the institutional site of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, which can be found in the “calls and tenders” section of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Information, Entertainment and Sport.
