Russia Calls for Efforts to Help Establish Afghan Government

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Russia on Friday, 27 August 2021 called for immediate concrete steps to help establish Afghanistan’s interim government after the attacks suicide bomb on Thursday, August 26, 2021 outside Kabul Airport. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Thursday’s suicide bombing had added to tensions in Afghanistan so that almost everyone there felt danger.

The Interfax news agency reported on the CSTO security alliance led by Moscow announced that it would hold joint military exercises in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from September to October 2021, involving thousands of troops.
