Two civilians died this Saturday in Russian attacks against the city of Avdiivkain eastern Ukraine, as reported this Sunday by the administration of the Donetsk region.
In one of its few offensives in months, the Russian army continued its assaults on Avdiivkawith shelling so fierce that emergency crews were unable to recover the dead from the destroyed buildings.
The administration of the region of Donetsk said this morning on the Telegram messaging app that one more person has been injured in another part of the region.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this Sunday that its forces have repelled 15 Russian attacks near Avdiivka, Tonenke and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region, while Russian forces launched heavy airstrikes in the area.
Oleh Sinehubov, governor of the Kharkov region, also in eastern Ukraine, has announced that a 54-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man have been killed and a woman wounded in a Russian airstrike overnight.
