(ANSA) – SALERNO, AUG 26 – There were moments of tension and a charge of lightening the police to stem the anti-Salvini protesters today in Piazza Duomo in Cava de ‘Tirreni (Salerno) where the leader of the League met with supporters and sympathizers in the context of the tour he is carrying out in the Salerno area. Among the over 600 people present, in fact, there were also about 200 demonstrators who challenged the former minister. Suddenly a lightening charge was also needed by the police to prevent the protesters from approaching the stage further. During the riots – which lasted about ten minutes – objects were also thrown at the policemen. The agents have already identified a dozen people but investigations are continuing. (HANDLE).
