The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is expected for August. As in the previous year, Samsung should open two sizes of the touch smartphone in the planned online event. Potential render images and dimensions of the smaller model have now appeared. The render images should show the current version of the Galaxy Note 20 – while the dimensions are probably already final, there are other parts of the smartphone that could probably be revised.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is said to have a 6.7-inch display and dimensions of 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm. This makes you slightly thicker (0.5 mm) than on the previous year’s model. Since the dimensions should belong to the small model, this should be larger this year than the Galaxy Note 10 and thus somewhat closer to the Plus model. The potential plus model should then also grow in size again.
In terms of design, you can clearly see Samsung’s signature: on the front there are thin display edges and a punch-hole design. Likewise, as with the Galaxy S20, you seem to be getting away from the strongly curved edges – I think it’s great – which should now be a bit more subtle. A quad camera setup awaits on the back – a periscope lens for zoom is visible on the render images. The camera module is similar to that of the Galaxy S20 models, but at 38.1 x 21.9 mm it does not seem to be quite as large as the S20 Ultra.
On the bottom you can see the slot of the S-Pen and a USB-C port:
