When buying a new smartphone, one thing is particularly important: performance. It not only decides on the speed of the device, but also on the longevity and the clean execution of various functions, such as games or photography.
Stored data, new software updates and every downloaded app have an impact on performance and gradually use up the reserves to different extents. How smoothly and quickly a cell phone reacts can be shown, among other things, using benchmarks.
This is exactly what the AnTuTu benchmark app does. Different values are compared. The evaluation criteria include the performance of the main memory (RAM), the processor (CPU / SoC) and the graphics chip (GPU). The numerical value resulting from these calculations shows how fast the smartphone actually works. So the higher this number is in the end, the better the smartphone scores in the top 10. Of course, many other criteria determine the quality of a smartphone. In the CHIP test center, for example, the performance of the power, the battery, the display, the camera and also the general equipment of the cell phone determine the test grade. The cell phone leaderboard currently contains 140 smartphones from all manufacturers and their test results.
