Samsung has announced a new television set intended for outdoor use, after it dominates the home TV market.
Today, the South Korean company announced its new TV, which displays the image in 4K and supports HDR10 + technology, and is the latest in a series of “lifestyle” televisions that also include devices such as: Serif, Frame and Sero.
The Terrace is designed for outdoor use, with support for water and dust resistance in accordance with the IP55 standard, and a screen level of 2,000 lumens to accommodate sunlight.
The 55-inch TV model is available at $ 4,999, while the 75-inch model is available at $ 6,499. It features an enhanced QLED image for outdoor work, a wide anti-reflective viewing angle, support for Quantum HDR 32X technology, and the presence of a Quantum 4K processor.
The Terrace comes with a metallic design, and Tizen TV programmatically supports audio technologies such as Active Voice Amplifier and Dolby Digital Plus.
And Samsung announced the launch of television in the United States and Canada from today, to be launched in other countries, such as: Germany, Australia, New Zealand, and others later this year. In addition to the consumer model, Samsung says it also plans to launch a “professional” version later in 2020.
