SAP closes cloud partnership with Microsoft

Frankfurt A new distribution agreement with Microsoft adds an extra boost to SAP's fast-growing cloud business. The agreed partnership in the third quarter had contributed 18 percentage points to the increase in new business of 39 percent to 572 million euros, said SAP on Monday.

Accordingly, the contract has a term of three years, revenues will flow from the fourth quarter. SAP can use it to sell its cloud solutions through the sales channels of Microsoft, said the new co-boss Jennifer Morgan.
