Almost three years have passed since the Schoolboy Q LP empty face. Meanwhile, the rapper was not entirely absent. He contributed to the award-winning Black Panther: The Album orchestrated by his label partner Kendrick Lamar. He appeared on a raucous and recent single by Mike Will Made-It, and was, of course, one of the protagonists of the roster of the TDE TDE championship. However, three years is a long period to keep fans and their brains dependent on the content waiting in 2019. Even the relatively absent presence of Q's social media did not help the situation.
Fortunately, in January, fans received promising signs of life. As we reported, the rapper published a couple of stories on Instagram that seemed to indicate that a new job would soon be released. "New album, new home, new guy, new car, goin for 4 dogs, new goals." The 32-year-old wrote. Now, it seems that the exit is imminent.
On Monday evening the rapper posted a message on Instagram that read "2 MORE DAYS." At the same time, he also tweeted an almost identical message, this time with the final added, "…… finally 👀."
Q worked on his next project for two years. In the fall, he explained that he delayed the release of the project after the death of his good friend Mac Miller. Now, it seems, it's ready to emerge.
