Mars Bleu is the month dedicated to raising awareness on the screening and prevention of colorectal cancer. The Regional Center for the Coordination of Cancer Screening remembers the importance of screening through a positive communication campaign.
The gesture of screening? As trivial and positive as a greeting!
Screening is a simple gesture that is 100% supported and able to save lives. 90% of the cancers are cured if they are caught on time.
A personal invitation that saves lives!
"The RCDC Reunion team has been working daily since 2004, in its missions of local organization of cancer screening (breast cancer, colorectal cancer and cervical cancer)."
One of his main actions: "sending invitations addressed to Reuniones, indicating to carry out the screening concerning them and its instructions for use ".
During the 2017/2018 campaign: "202,138 letters were sent in the context of colorectal cancer prevention, 1641 tests were reported positive and 64 cancers were detected. These data should be remembered to encourage screening: every year in France, there are 43 000 new cases of colon cancer and 17,800 deaths ".
