Sharjah Football Club announced today, Tuesday, the signing of striker Ben Malango from Moroccan Raja Casablanca for a period of three seasons.
The Congolese striker won the African Confederation Cup twice with TP Mazembe and Raja in 2017 and 2021, and was the top scorer in both editions.
Malango said through the Sharjah account on Twitter: “I achieved all the titles with the African teams that I played in, and now I am in a new challenge and I look forward to more titles.”
Malango will replace the transfer of Brazilian striker Igor Coronado to the Saudi Federation this summer.
Sharjah, who finished fourth in the league last season, nine points behind the champion Al Jazira and crowned the title in 2019, signed Brazilian midfielder Bernard from Everton and his compatriot Caio Lucas, Benfica’s winger, in preparation for the new season.
