On the red carpet in Cannes, the singer was accompanied by French director Romain Gavras, author of successful films such as Bedári and Athena. Forty-one-year-old Gavras and his fourteen-year-younger partner looked really in love in the spotlight. The brunette arrived in a black dress with cutouts on the body, and her lover in an elegant black suit.

The couple was later captured by paparazzi lenses during their free time in one of the luxury hotels, which are currently sold out and are inhabited by famous stars. However, apart from attending the premiere, where she arrived unannounced, the singer is said to not be planning any further participation on the closely watched red carpet.

In the past, Dua Lipa was a couple with, for example, Anvar Hadid, the brother of models Gigi and Bella Hadid. There was also speculation about her relationship with host Trevor Noah. After participating in the MET Gala at the beginning of May, where she was still alone, she made her first official appearance with Gavras in Cannes.
