The woman, who was one of the four people who were transported in a private car, white, was hit in the head and died immediately. The event was quickly made on social networks after the video that her sentimental partner recorded, in which she accused a member of the military forces as the person responsible for the murder.
“Look, we don’t carry weapons, we don’t carry anything. They killed Juliana, that man shot him in the head, okay look. Help me, please! We have nothing! My God!”, the man is heard tearfully, who walks from one side to the other disconsolate at the horror of what happened with his partner.
Giraldo Díaz, 38, would be one more victim of the abuse of force by the uniformed, soldiers and policemen, in moments of tension where the opposition sectors ask for the ‘head’ of the Minister of Defense, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, in the face of the most recent acts of violence against ordinary citizens.

“We deeply regret the situation presented in the rural area of Miranda, Cauca, in which a person lost his life when Army troops carried out military control of the area. The competent authorities were immediately informed”said General Eduardo Zapateiro, commander of the Army.
