Singer Adam Schlesinger dies of Covid-19 music

Great mourning for Adam Schlesinger: The US musician died at the age of 52 from the consequences of the corona virus.

US singer and film composer Adam Schlesinger is dead! As the “New York Times” reported, he died after a coronavirus infection. The Emmy and Grammy Award winner was 52 years old, and the musician had recently been hospitalized and connected to a ventilator.

He played in the bands “Ivy” and “Fountains of Wayne”. He also composed the music for numerous film and television series. With the movie song “That Thing You Do!” (Comedy of the same name with Tom Hanks) won an Oscar nomination in 1997.

He also wrote songs for the romantic comedy “Mitten ins Herz – Ein Song für dich” (2007) with Hugh Grant, the television series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” and the Sesame Street production “Elmo the Musical”.
