President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi said that Egypt is currently interested in 3 sectors, which are technology-intensive industries, agriculture, and communication and information technology.
He added during his meeting with development partners, namely international community organizations, international organizations and the private sector, this evening, on the sidelines of the activities of the third day of the World Youth Forum in its fourth edition, that the state needs to make a greater effort to achieve greater progress in these sectors, continuing: “We worked exclusively Intensive and deep insights into the industry opportunities that we can move into.”
He stressed that the state will not talk about export opportunities, before reducing the import bill by producing requirements that are imported from abroad.
He stressed the support of the private sector to produce these requirements, which cost up to 30 billion dollars, stressing the state’s keenness to achieve this within the next two or three years, which would contribute to reducing the volume of imports with a similar value.
