LONDON [Reuters] – Real Madrid is preparing a large bid to sign Manchester City star Raheem Sterling in the next period, according to Sky Sports on Friday.
Sky said the Real was ready to pay 70 million pounds in addition to the signing of Gareth Bale.
According to the British network, Real Madrid representatives will be in England next month to follow Sterling before making the final decision on the agreement.
Some European reports indicated the interest of Real to sign Stirling and confirmed that the Real representatives had already been in contact with agents of the English player last summer.
Stirling is one of the main pillars that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has at the forefront.
The 24-year-old moved to Al Ittihad at the start of the 2015/16 season from Liverpool.
The England star took part in 206 Manchester City games in various tournaments, scoring 82 goals and making 70 successful passes.
